It exists to let each crew member select their own identity while testing the app, not as production-grade authentication. ⚠️ Special category health data, no backend. This form captures real patient clinical information. There is no server here — nothing is saved automatically, nothing is encrypted, and the only way to keep a completed report is the "Save / Export JSON" button, which downloads a plain, unencrypted file to whatever device you're using. Treat that exported file with at least the same care as a paper patient report form — arguably more, since digital files are easy to lose track of. The committee should agree a clear process for what happens to exported reports next (secure storage, who has access, retention period) to meet obligations under the Isle of Man Data Protection Act 2018 and the Applied GDPR (Data Protection (Application of GDPR) Order 2018) for processing special category data.
